I find "Tales From Topographic Oceans" to be Dean's best work for YES. "Relayer" is also very good, no question.

I love KTA2. No doubt the most beautiful cover.

You know what? I have recently discovered a cover artist who can come close to Roger's paintings -- Kazuo Hakamada. He does stuff for Symphony X and it looks incredible. Roger is still the best, though.

Anywhere you can see Hakamada's work on a website? I'm curious.

Relayer is very unique and I love the snakes. Funny...I've got my rattlesnake shirt on today. Green Towers on Classic Yes was my first exposure to Dean and I just fell in love with that.

The album cover of Howe's solo album Beginnings is nice too. Too bad I can't find it somewhere to post up.

Well, way to go Nyleve.

Good site, btw, check Rhapsody's covers out. There's always that guy with white hair. Rhapsody have good covers too but there's no landscape as Yes/Asia/ELP...
The best pic for Rhapsody is rhapsody5.jpg. Take a look!

Holy Thunderforce.

And what's that???? InsideOut???? Outside in, inside out. :D

I drew the Green Towers Classic Yes album cover in colored pencils last year, and it
came out rather well, right down to the
reflections of the rocks on the surface of
the water. Classic Yes was the very first
album I got, so it has that special place in
my heart...
Every album cover that Roger Dean has done
are AWSOME! As a fellow artist, I've come to
appreciate his work.I hope he's doing the
cover for the next Yes album. That would be
SWEET!!! :D

I've always been a big fan of the Yessongs art - there's just so much! And the many ways that the orriginal LP opened up - no other band put so much value into their releases - it must have cost a fortune!

Also, what are the symbols on the left side of the CD case on the Ladder CD? If each represents a member of the band which is for whom?
