I've been away from the computer a lot lately.
Moved into a new house.
Spending most of my time unpacking, and tweeking the new digs.
I got nice matching frames for a lot of my photos I've shot at YESshows also some decent shots I took of ZZ Top, Kansas, and Jewel and put them up in my billiard room.
It's looking pretty nice.
Now I've ordered 12 frames for album covers.
the first three will be
CTTE, signed by Jon, Steve, Bill, and Rick
Tales, signed by Alan
GTR, signed by both Steves
the rest will be filled with regular covers, I've got a bunch.
Q: what cover would you frame and hang ?
I'd like to see some suggestions before I make my choices.

some that are current candidates...
Tubular Bells
Book of Dreams
Wish You Where Here
Chicago X
El Loco
Tattoo You
Morrison Hotel
Point of No Return
Whos Next
Abbey Road
Overnight Sensation

Asia: Any of their covers were nice.
Blue Oyster Cult: Tyranny and Mutation (awesome)
Bill Brufor: Gradually Going Tornado
Grateful Dead: Shakedown Street (funny little cover), or Steel Your Face
Santana: Abraxas
Frank Zappa: Apostrphy / Overnight Sensation (it's a comination album).

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is great art, but it might be too extreme for some...

I ended up cancelling the order from the web because Walmart now has album cover frames and they are around $7 each !
on the wall of autographed stuff I framed CTTE, Tales, and GTR
on another wall I grouped what I think are "iconic" covers
Fragile
Asia
Point of No Return
Book of Dreams
Boston
Led Zeppelin
Aja
Dark Side of the Moon
Tubular Bells
Chicago X
and behind my guitars I grouped covers that include the band
El Loco
Abbey Road
Morrison Hotel
Whos Next
Keepin the Summer Alive
Tattoo You

some good one didn't make the final cut because the years have taken their toll on their appearance.
It was a blast digging through the old albums and picking them out and under glass they look really good !

Some great choices, I always think that the inside cover of CTTE is the classic Yes/Dean moment mainly because the picture is the best match for the music imho. Abbey Road to me is trully iconic too.

For my study I have jus bought lithorgraphs of album Rush 2112 and Power Windows but I also have a couple of RIAA records awards (platinum 2112 and Yellow Submarine) which I think will look cool when I get them up there.
