Neal $ Jack & Me

Has anyone bought this DVD yet,and if so,do you have 5.1 capabilities? The reason I ask is that I can't get the '84 show to play in 5.1.The '82 show plays fine and I even exchanged it for another copy and the same thing happened. The performance is wonderful and the stereo mix is great, but dammit I want the surround mix!I'd love to know if this is only with a few copies or was the whole pressing run like this.If anybody has it let me know if yours plays in 5.1,your reseiver(sp) should say Dolby D. if its in 5.1 and Dolby pl II if it isn't.

I'd take a wild guess it's King Crimson related from the
Adrian Belew era. I would buy the Steve Hackett live
with John Wetton & Ian MacDonald instead with the
finest King Crimson songs.
Progressive will never be a popular form of music simply due to the fact that the average person has a 'attention span' of less than three minutes with a simple beat.

From Robert Fripp's online diary, 9/11/2004:

"The surround sound on the new KC DVD doesn't work. The US pressings were pressed prior to DGM HQ being given a test DVD to check."

Thanx,I.W.,it's still a big dissapointment but at least I won't make myself crazy trying to find one that works.

Saw this at the store the other day, for an EXCELLENT price considering it's two concerts in one! I think I'll pick it up when I go back tomorrow! :D And seeing the Bruford/Levin rhythm section is even better!
