Well... our moderator last moderated on September 21, 2011. So does this mean if we let out a string of curses and act inappropriately (mostly in regard to Geoff Downes' presence of course) that it will be left unmoderated?

When was Yestalk ever moderated? I was a moderator once upon a time [before I had to change my name to get re admittance].

I think you had to be pretty vile to risk any sort of sanction and I'd never prod people for bad language [glass house resident of long standing]. But I guess in many ways the board has been pretty PC when it comes to prejudice. Fortunately that was never that much of a problem. I wonder if N2 knows it's back up?

I did have an Email address years ago, but I've tried to use it occasionally over the past 7 - 8 years and each time my Email gets rejected because the recipient is unreachable. Too bad, because I really liked the man as well. Good guy.

I also used to be a moderator.

So uh... I'm incredibly late to the party here but, anyone who is still floating around may remember me as N2yes's eldest son. I happened to be on a bit of a Yes binge (as I am often wont to do), and out of the blue I remembered not only that this place existed, but of my father's fondness for it.

Sadly, I come bearing the news that N2yes passed away in February of 2018 from complications arising from chemotherapy. He was diagnosed with a grade IV glioblastoma on his basal ganglia in August 2017, not 2 weeks on from my mother's untimely passing from liver cancer. I'll spare further gory details of but I figured if he warranted a thread here after being gone for so long, someone around here might appreciate an update.

I'm so sorry for your loss and very sad to hear the news. I genuinely loved your Dad.
We talked often of getting together as I used to take frequent trips to New Hampshire.

I'd been trying to reach him for years but the E-mail I had wasn't any good
RIP, Chris (N2Yes)
